Garage

One of the first projects was to get the garage air tight.  I wanted a nice place to store the motorcycles.  The garage had swinging doors like the OK Corral. It was full of leaves and every creapy crawly wanting to get out of the desert heat. The space is really tight to put a car inside but I knew it would be a perfect toy box.

Precious, the ’08 HDSportser 1200 broke a chain tensioner destroying the clutch plates inside the primary cover.  I needed a clean space to take her apart and replace these parts.

  • Precision Door was able to mount a real garage door in the opening which was tricky as the ceiling is very low.  I had to mount a wooden frame around the door so they could bolt it in place.
  • I wanted it to look like a laboratory with gloss white paint on the cinder blocks.  that took 10 gallons of paint.
  • I put the old work bench from the backyard inside
  • I added some electrical outlets, shelves, and bright LED lights
  • This is also a good place to put Charlie’s wire feed welder
